With AI, digital twin & smart solutions for efficient, robot-assisted production systems at the automatica 2025
Four days of high-tech, exchange, and inspiration: automatica 2025 was once again a great success for Baumann Automation. As a leading platform for intelligent automation and robotics, the trade fair—held from June 24 to 27 in Munich—showcased how the industry continues to grow closer through digitalisation, AI, and innovative technologies. We sincerely thank all visitors who stopped by our booth and engaged in valuable dialogue with us!
Experience the Digital Twin Live
A key highlight at our booth was the Digital Twin: With virtual commissioning, digital process representation, and simulation, we demonstrated how development times can be significantly shortened and risks minimized early on. End-to-end digitalisation not only boosts efficiency in engineering but also enhances performance in ongoing operations.
Artificial intelligence meets mechanical engineering
Another highlight of the trade fair was the practical use of artificial intelligence. At our interactive exhibit, they challenged the AI in a game of Match 4 - with enthusiasm, curiosity and a pinch of competitive spirit. We are convinced that intelligent software is the key to the future of mechanical engineering and is driving the development of our systems forward.
Automation solutions from a single source
From the initial idea to the turnkey system - Baumann Automation stands for holistic automation expertise. In Munich, we demonstrated how modern assembly solutions, robot-assisted handling and smart testing technologies can be seamlessly integrated. Our solutions are individually scalable and designed for maximum productivity - even for complex requirements.
TechTalks at Stäubli
On Thursday, June 26, 2025, Stefan Wendl, Business Development Manager at Baumann, had the opportunity to participate in a TechTalk at the Stäubli booth. In his presentation and in conversation with Johannes Seitz, Manager of Sales General Industry at Stäubli Robotics Germany, he discussed the challenges of automation in the medical technology sector. Using the example of pacemaker welding, he demonstrated the need for extremely precise and efficient components—and how Baumann meets these demands. He also provided insights into additional automation possibilities from Baumann in the field of medical technology.
